I’ve tried some of their treats before, just never in the cafe itself. Since we were in the area checking out Totts (where we bought an Espuma Whipper) we thought we’d pop by for a quick adventure. Its really quite nice!
My personal take, I’d give it a 4/5.
If it was closer to where I worked or lived, I’d be back more often. Most of the good stuff like the Passionfruit Meringue were sold out but we got to try the experimental Pear Financier which was real nice. Its quaint, tucked away, probably will be noisy given how popular it is. Definitely liked it and will be back at some point.
The Chocolate Caramel tart is pretty nice. Good tart base and who does not love some rich chocolate. My favourite is still from Laurent’s 5 years ago but the quality of their tarts have really been awful recently. I am still on a hunt for a mind blowing chocolate tart. This one is pretty good though.
I love crust on the mushroom quiche and they got the crust right, the quiche itself is pretty good too, I would mind having another slice right now.
